KIIT is one of the top private colleges in India both in terms of academics and placement. KIIT offers a number of specialization courses to its students in the CSE branch, so a student having interest in computers can learn a lot from this college. Almost all the professors have got their higher degrees like Doctorate (P.hd) and Masters (M.Tech) from IITs or NITs, like NIT Rourkela, IIT BHU, IIT Madras, etc. Professors have got keen and depth knowledge of their subjects and are also very capable in teaching students and making them understand easily. Most of the professors in our department are young and very friendly with the students. And now coming to exams, we have exams semester-wise which are neither very difficult to pass nor too easy. Students can study someday before the exams and pass them.
KIT has got a very big campus which is further divided into various campuses from inside. KIIT also has both internal and external central stadiums on its campus. It has also got various courts like Basketball court, volleyball court, Badminton court, Tennis court, etc. KIIT also has many students societies like: Model Un Society, Korus, Apogeio, KIIT Robotics, Keurig, Art of Giving, Kompassion, Khwab Social service society, etc. These clubs/societies are managed and handled by students themselves. Then KIIT also organizes an Annual Fest named KIIT Fest in the month of January.
To be very honest, fees here at KIIT are very high. You will have to pay around 3.5-3.8 lakh rupees per year. And the fees for the full 4 year BTech programme costs around 14-15 lakh rupees which are exclusive of the hostel charges. I didn't opt for the hostel so I don't know what is the hostel charge. And when talking about the scholarship, yes KIIT provides scholarships to a number of students through various scholarship programs, like KIIT Poverty cum merit scholarships, KIIT Merit Scholarships, KIITEEE Merit Scholarships, KIIT International Scholarship, Contingency Fund, PNS scholarship, Mtech scholarship, etc. Also, a scholarship is provided to two poor students every year in memory of its founder Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal who are good at studies.
